This course equips students with the skills required to enter a high-demand field with excellent job prospects, flexible work opportunities, and the potential for remote work.
Typically, all graduates from healthcare or allied fields are eligible. Some programs may also accept non-healthcare graduates. After high school, candidates are also eligible for this course.
No prior medical knowledge is required for beginner-level courses. However, an interest in healthcare and attention to detail are advantageous.
Students are typically prepared for certifications such as CPC (Certified Professional Coder), COC, CIC, CRC, and CPB.
