About Lesson

The female reproductive system consists of the uterus, ovaries, vagina and vulva.

These structures are responsible for producing and maintaining female ova and providing a place for the implantation and nurturing of the fertilized ovum until birth.

Amenorrhea                             absence of menstruation

Dysmenorrhea                          Painful menstruation

Cervicitis                                   Inflammation of the cervix

Salpingitis                                  Inflammation of the fallopian tube

Mastitis                                       Inflammation of breast

Colposcopy                                 Examination of the vagina
